* Ride Accessibility *
Don't worry about the headache of looking for parking in Downtown Gatlinburg! At the base of the mountain is a FREE Trolley service that will take you to and from Downtown Gatlinburg.
* Pets *
We're pet friendly and accept up to 2 medium sized dogs per reservation. We provide 2 pet crates, toys, leash and food/water bowls for your fur baby. The pet fee of $125 applies when bringing up to 2 dogs. We do not permit cats or other animals in this cabin. In addition to outside non-paved areas your pets can use, we have this covered pet potty area that can be used during inclement weather.

We provide a Pack N' Play, Full Size Stroller, Portable High Chair and Booster Seat so you do not have to pack these items.

We are proud to offer all Current Military, Veterans, Police & Firefighters a 10% discount. In order to receive this discount, you must make your reservation first then send us a message with a copy of your proof of service. The name on the reservation and payment must match the name on the proof of service. We will then refund 10% of the accommodation back to you in the resolution center the day of your check in. Chalet Village - Located 2 miles from the Free Gatlinburg Trolly stop
Charcoal grills are strictly prohibited to be brought onto the balconies per the local fire code. There is a charcoal grill at the property for your use so there is no need to bring a grill to this property.
Starter Pack and Linens: Included are towels, hand towels, washcloths, makeup wipes, sheets, quilts, extra blankets, pillows, and more. You will receive a sponge, dishwasher pods, detergent pods, travel-size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, bar soap, and other extras we like to surprise you with. You will likely need to bring or buy additional trash bags and toilet tissue beyond what is provided in the starter pack.
✈️ Travel Insurance is highly recommended for your reservation. We recommend using the company called With Faye for travel insurance as they offer the best cancel for any reason travel protection. Please note that we do not provide any refunds outside of the cancelation policy of your reservation. This includes but is not limited to sickness, death in the family, weather concerns and more. Great place with kids. Host is very responsive.
It took us about 12 minutes to get to Gatlinburg from the house.
We saw some bears lower down the mountain, which was cool. We truly enjoyed our stay at the Big Bear Cabin! The host was extremely responsive and offered many guides to the area and home. We had two families of 3 and 2 small dogs in the home for the 5 days. Things we loved: hot tub, easy access into unit, washer/dryer, kitchen appliances and cookware provided, pet care items and crate available, stroller for use, pool table and hockey table. Overall, very cozy home, location is great for Gatlinburg access, and responsive communication with owner/property manager. Beautiful house. Loved the layout. Beds super comfy. Absolutely loved the starter set of supplies provided. Only stayed a couple of nights but wish we could have stayed longer. Will be back! A beautiful home with unbeatable views! Very responsive host and wonderful accommodations. I look forward to a return trip soon!
