Our cabin is brand new construction as of 2022.
We hold ourselves to a very high standard of service & cleanliness. All linens, towels, and toiletries are provided to guests & freshly changed after each stay. The hot tub is drained and cleaned at each checkout. Please communicate with us if something is not to standard and we will address the issue promptly.

The area offers a phenomenal array of world class hiking trails of all varieties & skill levels (Abram Falls, Cades Cove Nature Trail, Laurel Falls, Grotto Falls, Rainbow Falls, and many more!)
Fall foliage is spectacular and can be seen well on Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail, Newfound Gap, and more driving scenic routes to explore.
Dollywood is one of the main attractions in the area boasting a theme park, mini putt, axe throwing bars, & arcades & much more. This is a full day's event guaranteed. Nearby Dollywood you'll find amazing dinner shows to entertain kids of all ages. Also in the area are museums of all types: classic cars, Alcatraz, Titanic and several children's' museums.
More adventures await with zip-lining at Adventure Park Five Oaks & Foxfire Mountain Adventures. A more tranquil time on the links can be found a The Sevierville Golf Club (2 18 hole championship courses only 6 min away) Gatlinburg Golf Course, Bent Creek Golf Club, and Creekside Golf Course (9 holes).
You'll find a plethora of good eats & local restaurants of all types: lots of BBQ & chicken joints. Come hungry, serving sizes won't disappoint. Some of the best barbecue & burgers in the entire area are right in town at Trotters Whole Hog & Graze Burgers. We are proud to offer all Current Military, Veterans, Police & Firefighters a 5% discount. In order to receive this discount, you must make your reservation first then send us a message with a copy of your proof of service. The name on the reservation and payment must match the name on the proof of service. We will then refund 5% of the accommodation back to you in the resolution center the day of your check in.

Access
★Access★ We have a digital lock system in place for the front door. The access code will be provided with check in information. A lock box is on property in case passage code system fails and will provide a bolt lock key and knob lock key. Other things to note Family friendly area and well equipped for the family retreat! Check in/check out info provided prior to check in. Property is monitored with exterior security cameras for the safety of the cabin & guests. All parts of the cabin are accessible except for the locked owners closet.
Interaction With Guests
We are available by phone from 8am to 9pm. We are not avaible in person.
Notes
✅Starter Pack and Linens: Included are towels, hand towels, washcloths, makeup wipes, sheets, quilts, extra blankets, pillows, and more. You will receive a sponge, dishwasher pods, detergent pods, travel-size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, bar soap, and other extras we like to surprise you with. You will likely need to bring or buy additional trash bags and toilet tissue beyond what is provided in the starter pack. ✈️ Travel Insurance is highly recommended for your reservation. We recommend using the company called With Faye for travel insurance as they offer the best cancel for any reason travel protection. Please note that we do not provide any refunds outside of the cancelation policy of your reservation. This includes but is not limited to sickness, death in the family, weather concerns and more. For this reason we highly suggest travel insurance if you think there may be a possibility of your trip being interrupted for any reason.
House Rules
* Please note - If you are arriving on the same day that you are making the reservation, you must message us prior to making your reservation to ensure the cabin will be ready for you. Please include the time you expect to arrive in your message. * Quiet hours outside of the home after 10pm. Please be respectful of the neighbors. Noise ordinances are followed in this area. * No smoking inside of the cabin. There is a smoking receptacle behind the house. $400 smoke cleaning fee inside of the cabin. * Please do not bathe your pet or service animal in the showers. This will clog our septic tank. * Up to 2 dogs are allowed but they must be 50 lbs or less and housebroken - No aggressive breeds allowed. There is a 36 inch dog crate in the home. Any pet left home alone must remain in the crate. In order to bring a pet, you must select the # of pets on your reservation. Guests violating this policy will be asked to leave without refund. * We have 2 exterior cameras. One is above the front entry and the second is facing the bbq grill on the rear of the house.

This place was very nice and very comfortable. Would stay here again! Perfect location. Close to pigeon forge though A bit of a drive from Gatlinburg but still worth it. The host responded to our messages pretty quick as well.

First impression when we drove up was, “Oh it’s going to be a super noisy area” as the cabins are very close to each other and lots of them. Thankfully, our experience was the neighbors playing a guitar by his fire pit & that was nice to listen to while we were in the hot tub lol. Loved the hot tub! The patios are a good size, woods directly behind and we absolutely loved the outdoor lights/ambiance. The driveway is pretty small but we angled in & it fit our SUV and Jeep tight. The inside was VERY CLEAN & kitchen was organized. Only thing that got us on a rough start was that the Nest thermostat cutoff in middle of the night the first night for us to wake up to 59 degrees inside & it doesn’t take batteries so luckily we had a charger that fit it & was able to get it charged to get heat back on. I spoke with Matt about this & he offered to have maintenance come out to charge it but hopefully they can keep a charger onsite in case it happens again. Matt was very helpful during our trip.

Matt & his place was great. The home was very cozy, comfortable, & felt just like home. Matt was always quick to respond when we reached out and also made sure to get a new air hockey puck during our stay when we were unable to locate one at the house.

A Perfect Getaway at the Moonwalking Bear, the cabin is nestled in a beautiful, serene location, surrounded by nature. It’s the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of life. We enjoyed morning coffee on the porch while taking in the stunning views of the mountains. The cabin was immaculate upon our arrival. Matt, clearly takes pride in maintaining the space, and everything was well-organized and tidy. It felt like a home away from home. The cabin is equipped with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils and appliances, allowing us to cook our meals with ease. We also appreciated the cozy living area, complete with a fireplace and comfortable seating. The hot tub and game room were fantastic additions that made our stay even more enjoyable. Matt, was an exceptional host! They were incredibly responsive and provided us with all the information we needed prior to our arrival. We can't wait to come back! Thank you.
